Born in Metz in 1949. Graduated at l'Ecole des Ats Apliqués de Metz in 1969. Has lived in Hérault since 2007.
Through his paintings Loux expresses his true self : turmoil, doubt, exaltation, reserve. He imposes the imaginary frontiers on himself and on us…light, reflection and colours thrown in. thrown back, projected and mixed, covered and discovered each in turn.
He plays with a profusion of motifs with the intention of creating a constant dialogue, at times meticulous, among signs, escapes, chances and necessities….the chaos of life!
Constantly searching, his latest canvasses are the result of physico-chemical reactions he has created, invented, provoked… a certain necessity … the whole of matter…Being and Life .. simply being Human.
